Melissa and Katelynn have been friends since Junior High. Katelynn has been planning weddings for over 10 years! In fact, one of Katelynn’s first weddings was Melissa's 12 years ago. In 2018, Katelynn was planning a wedding and needed some extra help, which is when Melissa stepped in to save the day. After partnering again on another wedding, they decided to make it official and This Day Events was formed.

Katelynn has been designing weddings since she started with her Barbie dolls. Her goal is to make your day run as smoothly as possible. With her organization and ability to take charge, she makes it happen!
Katelynn is originally from Midwest City, Oklahoma and is married to her husband, Ryan. Together, they have two wonderful children. Katelynn’s favorite part of being a wedding planner is the moment right before a bride walks down the aisle and realizes this is the big moment!

Melissa uses her attention to detail to make your event better than you could imagine. She’s amazing at turning her brides’ ideas into fruition and helping all the little details run smoothly.
Melissa grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She and her husband, Adam, have three adventurous boys. She loves being able to take stress away from the wedding planning process, so everyone can enjoy the big day!
