Having a wedding coordinator is hands down the best money we spent. In this case, you get two coordinators. Katelynn and Melissa were great! The consultation meetings before the wedding allowed them to make sure everything was in order with our vendors and that our itinerary was setup. This is important to allow yourselves to enjoy your wedding. Katelynn and Melissa work great as a team. Our venue had multiple locations from ceremony on the front steps, to inside for cocktail hour, and upstairs for reception. Being able to have them both in different spots throughout the day was a huge benefit to make our wedding day flow so well. They truly helped us to be relaxed for our day and we are so happy to have used them. We always recommend them to anyone we know planning a wedding.
I had several DIY elements of my wedding to save on money; Katelynn and Melissa helped my vision come through. They helped me put together all the bouquets, boutonnières, and center pieces. I also had several decor items and they found the perfect places to put it all. My wedding was suppose to be outdoors, but due to extremely cold weather everything this was moved indoors. Katelynn and Melissa had a plan before I even showed up day of that took all my stresses away. The best thing about hiring This Day Events was working with them on the day of my wedding. I was able to enjoy the whole day from getting ready with my bridal party to the tear down. I had no worries. If there were any bumps in the road, they took care of it without me knowing. Katelynn and Melissa were our day of coordinators for our wedding. I was hesitant on hiring a coordinator because I wasn’t knowledgeable about how much she would save the day. On the day of our wedding I had decorations to scatter throughout the venue, without a definite plan. Katelynn took charge and control and made the venue and outdoor decorations absolutely beautiful. Of course, she was very thoughtful of my opinions and wants and made sure everything done was acceptable by me. By having Katelynn and Melissa helping with our wedding, the ONLY worry I had on our wedding was tripping and falling down the stair case she also constructed the day of rehearsal which was perfect. If I could recommend something to a future bride it would be to hire This Day Events without hesitation. I can’t thank you enough!
Oh my goodness- AMAZING!! Melissa was our day of coordinator for our backyard wedding. Being that we had a backyard wedding, we planned a lot ourselves and used a lot of vendors that were connections, friends, and recommendations from our friends and family. Melissa ensured that we had every detail set in place for both our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. She contacted our vendors, set up our last minute decor...even hung lights from our tents to the house, and was extremely knowledgeable and organized. She coordinated with every one of our vendors and guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner to ensure that our day was perfect. She pushed for events we had expressed we wanted from our other vendors, checked in with us often, and made sure we didn’t have to worry about the details of our day. We could not have imagined what our wedding would have been like without Melissa- she was by far the most important piece to our puzzle and we would recommend her and her business to anyone!!!
